# Adding new tags Using this workflow ensures tags are properly integrated into the vault. ## Steps 1. Add the new tag to the [[Meta-Tags]] note 2. Add the newly created tag to the filter-list of the [[action.base]] 3. Add a new view using according filters to the [[action.base]] 4. Add the tag to all templates using a list of all tags (e.g. [[t1a1 metadata-general]]) 5.
