# 0.0 Example Field Note This is an example field note, which provides some explanations how I structure my notes. Text written in*cursive text* provides brief explanations for a section. The *title* of the note provides a quick summary of it's contents and it's ID. The *body* of the note is the main content of the note. Additional this may contain images for to illustrate concepts or support the written text, `code` or ``` code blocks ``` which I use for quick reference of configurations or commands. A *horizontal line* breaks the note to indicate different types of connections explained below. --- **Previous:** *Link to the preceding note ("one number up"), indicating a relation to the topic* --- **Lookup** - *Points to related internal field notes* --- **Sources** * *Points to external notes that lead to the creation of this note* * *Could also to point to [[Reference note example|reference notes]] I used to capture thoughts while reading, watching, learning from media * *Unfortunately some of these cannot be published to licence / copyright reasons*, resulting in a dead link --- **Used in** - *Rarely used, might point to other notes that where sparked from this note.
